which modules should I use ?
which techniques ?
how can I show the EQ parameters on a curve in an analyzer window
or something like that ?

any more information would be welcome !!!
ALL in SynthEdit!

I intend to take the advices here and built a very quality parametric EQ and show anyone that free plugs can also be very quality and there is no need for money to buy that!

Money doesn't Buy anything - especially NOT this EQ

By the way ... synth edit is just the start I intend to take it to other programs too .
i have two friends that buy everything they think can build VSTs
so I gonna use thier help too .

one thing...an 8 band parametric sounds interesting and novel...however I think I would add an option to disable bands...some might see it is too much and use graphic eqs like curve eq by voxengo...

If you need an 8-band parametric, you've got problems that no EQ is gonna fix.

Building a Quality Parametric EQ (8 Bands at least)
