TC Powercore + Which Soundcard?

I ran into a major problem when i added the old TC Powercore PCI version (the mega long one) to my setup, because apparently there is some kind of 'known' mystery conflict (maybe pci bandwidth?) between the Powercore and the M-audio Audiophile 2496 which I have.
So I'm looking to sell my Audiophile and buy either of these:
Emu 1212M 24-Bit/192kHz Balanced PCI Interface
Emu 0404 24/96 Digital Audio PCI Card
Has anyone used this succesfully with the old TC Powercore PCI cards?
Or does anyone have any better suggestions for sound cards in that range? I've heard Emu are kind of bandwidth hogs and this worries me.. Can anyone back this up for me?
Thankyou very much anyone who can help me out here!

HI
I am sure there was a problem/conflict with an EMU card and the PoCo - when I got my DAW 18 months ago I had to get an RME instead.
Check the TC and EMU sites for latest info ... I suposse.

there was a conflict between the poco and the emu cards - but the 1.8 drivers fixed that for me
it was actually pretty similar to the m-audio one - crackles and things on playback
try the unnoffical emu forum to see if it is fixed for everyone

I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.
