Hey Guys
I got my CSR (LOVER IT) and loaded the license on the dongle just find.
HOWEVER,
I tried to transfer my Halion license to the new dongle and it kept failing. I reinstall the Syncroft software and then if transferred fine... BUT, it still thinks there is a pending transfer, but there isn't. SO, I can't erase, add, or move any licenses around... YOu see, it wants to transfer something that is no longer there! I can't transfer it back, because the program freeze transfers until the pending transfer is complete....(around I go)
I would like to get AT2, but I won't be able to load the license, since mine thinks there is still a pending transfer....
How do I fix this?
I have nothing against dongles and this is not intend to start a fire thread, I just want to fix it...
thanks

That seems to be an unfortunate mishap...
Not a big fan of the dongles, but I live with them for a while now and besides small glitches I had luck so far with the license transfers.
The only ideas I have for your case is to make sure you got the latest drivers from syncrosoft, maybe try different USB ports and if that doesn't help contact IK or Steinberg to get a new key for replacement.

I wonder if you had the key in when you did the transfer. The instructions say not to but if you do then it can be a problem. Nothing that can't be solved with actual tech support though! We don't do tech support here for the syncrosoft key but you should contact IK or Steinberg to help solve the problem for you. It might also be helpful to pinpoint what you may have done wrong or what you could have done to avoid the issue. I have Cubase, HALIon 3, Miroslav, AT2, CSR all on the same key without a hitch!

The destination key could indeed have a defect... or in some cases, older versions of the syncrosoft key don't seem to have enough memory for multiple licenses...

The destination dongle has both licenses on it....CSR and Halion 3
It just thinks Halion still needs to be transferred, but since it already has been, there is nothing to transfer.... damn

Contact customer support... probably Steinberg first in this case...

Syncrosoft replies pretty quick!
there are working with me now
how do I locate my serial numbers of my eLicensers?
are they on the dongle, or are they on of the three numbers you have to plug in when you first get the software going?

I think you can see the serial number if you look through the plastic housing in bright light... there is 3 rows with numbers and letters...

It all fixed.
Nice company, but it took sometime to sort it all out.
Both VST were working through the entire process, but it took a week to get the pending transfer off the dongle.
Syncrosoft has to verify my license were legit and then give me a code to get rid of the pending transfer
there you have it

Glad it worked out for you... I'm not a friend of these hardcore copy protections, but at least customer service should be their number one priority...
