I never found a nice alternative to logic's tapedelay. I can't really get anything quite similar with any other delay, it has a special magic... or did I miss something?

Bionic delay is close though..

PSP 608 is heard to beat.
PSP 84 for something simpler and lower on CPU.

If you are up for something a little more unusual, you should really try Mutagene's
2WarpDelay. Great sound and an interesting concept.

you're not alone in this. I mean, really, it's sounds so damn digital when you think about it, but it just *works*.

bionic delay is like decaf coffee compared to it. close, but missing that same punch in the morning.

Sonitus FX Delay - easy to use - great sound - versatile and only $39.

God bless

Having tried pretty much all of those, I can attest that not all of them can be considered "really good."

Another vote for the PSP 608--very powerful, good pesets, easy to program, 8 taps and excellect sound modulation.

except that the free 'more feedback machine' by urs, our resident developer, is actually a whole lot more flexible. Not only that, but it's like 5 years older. Urs was ahead of his time.

or maybe PSP608 is just really shit. maybe both.

it is indeed very flexible, but i was not able to get just a real pingpong configuration (no middle tap) out of it ...
if i could just manage this easily, thatone would be the only one for me exept the mgdelay.
