Anybody know of any complete piano multi-sampled sets that are in a well temperament? Ideally Thomas Young's well temperament, but I'm easy.

Google has thus far been fruitless.

I could go buy a piano and have it tuned thusly, but I'd likely have to get it retuned on a monthly basis for a while, so a sampled one would be great.

why go the hard way?

since you're using a sampler, you could simply set it to play the samples in any tuning system you need. There's free scala files just for that and most samplers support alt. tunings.

The pitch differences are so small, that even if your sampler has the shittiest interpolation known to man, you're not going to be able to hear the difference in sound quality (if using gigasamples, or similar). but that's OT already.

I figured anything shifted would sound like ass. I'll have to try it out and see what I find.

it won't actually. the difference is really that miniscule - it's nothing to worry about. The only worry is how you're going to make the alt. tunings work with additional instrumentation, but you've probably got that worked out already.

I've been using the alternate tunings with synths, but for my needs with piano it would mostly be unaccompanied anyway.

Thanks for the advice, will likely save me some hassle.
