What, that is the free kit?

If so, sounds very nice! I can see why you're so enthusiastic to get your hands on it now, lol. :hihi:

I'd like to get on the bus as well. The demos sound incredible!

Yep, that's the free kit. It's been quite the talk over at the contest forum. Trouble is, I didn't see the OP until after the fact :bang:

Maybe if we all shout at the same time we'll be heard?

While you folks are waiting for GIROs permission (I tried mailing him through his profile in the morning), you should really get the new pettinhouse kit (a Yamaha 9000).
And, to make your wait even more exciting, I won't post a link ;)

Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Would be better if he had just put it on the Bittorrent network... No bandwidth concerns whatsoever. Demo's do sound incredible by the way! Good job.

Still no response to my mail... sorry, folks, I'd gladly arrange something.

Hey Sascha, I really appreciate you trying. I'm sure he's probably been swamped with mail - I doubt you'll hear from him. But you know, the dark side of me thinks this is a ploy to get people to buy his new kit, despite what his site says. It wouldn't be the first time a dev has done this.

I doubt that, Peter who runs the auditorium announced he was pulling the all the large sample content a while back, it probably takes a lot for Giro to host this kit.

Nah, I don't mean why it went down - I knew that, I'm talking about his complete lack of response to the umpteen people who have tried to get his permission to host the files for him. He only needs to respond yes or no. If it's no, you gotta wonder why.

Not really making an accusation, just wondering out loud. Hey, I credit the guy for making them available in the first place for free. Point is, I'd gladly pay for them now if he'd just let somebody host.

It's not - I removed the Kit due to freeloaders - OK?

In fact Any file that was into the plural hundred, got removed - I did not feel the 'real cost' justified 'hosting them for free' due to the ratio of feedback to download was - NAFF - plus the issues of direct linking, mass downloading etc = not worth it for me, however what GIRO (the artist of this one partiqular file, thinks - is antoer matter - what I don't think you should do is invent stuff thinking its going to 'make' an artist 'give you something' for 'free' what a cheek!

Best regards,

You know, you really ought to read at least a few of the previous posts before you jump in with that tone. Everybody knows why Audioshot took down the drums. What we don't know is why the guy won't let anybody put them back up - OK? BTW. I never freeloaded a thing from you.

I added to my post - with more 'tone' for you

WTF? I and several others have expressed a willingness to pay, if he'll just put them back up or let someone else do it. This has nothing to do with you, your site or "freeloaders".
