I just wanted to set up someplace where folks who were trying to figure out what had happend to the Kristal Audio Engine forum could congregate.

Also, how are the Kristal April contest entries going to be handled?

I hope that problem will be fixed soon.Kristal is good and free alternative.
I'm waiting for KAE 2 with midi-vst support!

Yes, it will be interesting to see what they do with Midi. Kristal's main attraction is its ease of use and stability for those working with audio. So many midi applications are so advanced, that I'm not sure how well it will get incorporated. For example, Cakewalk Music Creator is pretty cheap and does a good job with midi.

That being said, Kristal has been of good use to me for a very long time. If they get something basic and stable going on the midi-vsti front, I'm sure it will be well received.

Greetings Goldbaker,

We were messing with some revelations about recording with the LiveIn, inspired mostly by newbies when the crash occurred.

I am just trying to figure out how you can record with the LiveIn and monitor the effect without setting up a "What U Hear" recording situation.
