You guys should now be able to download the soundset in two parts (100 mb and 85 mb) at rapidshare.de:
http://rapidshare.de/files/18789257/GSC ... p.001.html
http://rapidshare.de/files/18789241/GSC ... p.002.html
You'll have to unzip the two files in order to get to the .rar file, which of course needs to be unpacked as well.
Should you have problems with handling the zip or the rar part, I can recommend the free 7zip program. Use it all the time.
Let me know if this is working as intended.

Ok, tried myself. It works. But they kill you with ads and waiting time. Huge PITA. On the other side, the download is lighting fast here: 100 mb took under 2 minutes!

Translation: "Some of us don't have the money to spend on high-end products such as BFD. We have to make do with what is available, but still want that same level of quality sound. Fortunately, Giro's kit delivers a top-notch drumming experience for free. I am very excited about this development."discordianvision wrote:It's the poor man's bfd for all us ghetto-cats out there!!

Ok, here's the Battery (v1) and DR-008 files:
http://home.arcor.de/s.franck/gscw/batteryfiles.zip
http://home.arcor.de/s.franck/gscw/dr008files.zip
Might take some time to load the DR-008 ones as you'd have to point the file search to the specific file. As an alternate solution you could just put all the samples in the packs into one folder, in that case you'll only have to point DR-008 to a file once.
You may notice that in the Battery files I arranged all cells in a somewhat logical way, so you could for instance select all hats by selecting one row. Nice to set up multiouts or tweak various parameters of all hats at once.
