Often with an instance of ambience open and active on a track, all audio will cut out - including audio on tracks without the ambience plugin inserted. Pressing 'play' results in a loud pop, a second pop when I press 'stop'. I can use the plugin for hours without this happening. This problem often gets triggered by a quick movement of the SPL in logic; while the song is playing quickly dragging the SPL back a few bars can kill the audio. Or a quick 'stop-stop-play' to reset the SPL to the begging and commence playback often triggers this problem too. These pops / audio cutout problems sound EXACTLY like Bram's old bugged Mac VST version of Crazy Ivan... it used to cut audio out and produce pops on playback / stop. Dunno if that helps.![]()
Using a similar setup, but with Audiowerk8 on a Dual800 G4, 1gig ram (400 allocated to logic), I get a similar problem.
But it seems mine is triggered in a different situation.
I have a saved song using Ambience, with a preset I made.
After I first run Logic after booting up, and open this song, the bug happens, and only workaround is select "NO PLUGIN" in the channel where I got ambience, and re-select ambience, and re-load the preset.
Or use Bypass, but then I get no reverb
any one else getting this?
