Though if this gets developed as quickly as, say, Bidule, it'll soon have a price tag on it...

gave it an hour long whirl.
I liked the modularity, the interface, the sculpting possibilities.
I didn't like that it was geared only towards performance. There was not great straightforward way to compose.
To me it reminded me of a very lite reacktor or plouge mixed with a very lite Live but instead of choosing Live sound cells to play you are choosing modular effect files.
It would be much more fun if you could load it as VST.
STILL, I think that if I ever start DJing again this will be TONS of fun
Although I also wish it could record all my tweaks.

This is crazy, I don't know how to use it, but Im getting a bit of Russian out of it and Im recording and playback in another channel.
Here is the first clue to get it to run and stop - you press the space bar
It automaticaly searches for VST folder as soon as you turn the program?
I would like to make this general comment - I put the reverb on, I put the compression in and I put the VST in too!
I wonder if you could load a sequencer VST or it be a VST and load it in something else?
It doesn't work on 24bit? only 16bit or 32bit?
I wonder what Usine's latency is?
So far it looks very time consuming to get the most out of it - but very interesting...mmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

If Usine auto scans your plug in file and dies,,, then rename your plugin folder,, then fire up Usine. Inside Usine you can change the Settings for the
VSt folder to somewhere else. Rename your Original VSt folder name back.
