Cubase SX3 & FL Studio 6 Out Of Sync!?!?

I've researched all the manuals (FL & Cubase), I've googled, I've searched forum to forum and I just can't find the proper answer. As I have searched the net I have found that this is a known problem but I haven't found any known answers. Please help me out!

My set up:

Dell 4100
P4
1.5 GB's of ram
over 400 GB's of memory
2.66 Ghz
Digi 001 Audio Card

There are two ways of connecting FL Studios to Cubase from what I have read...

1. Rewire FL Studio (after loading Cubase then load FL)

2. FL Studio as a VSTI (or multi)

The Problem (for those who don't know):

I get an out of sync reaction in both set ups, I've played around with the thingy on the rewire host (-08 etc...) and no mater what, I can not get them both to sync. Somebody, anybody share some light on me about the issue!

I have the same problem with FL Studio and Cubase LE so if anyone can shed some light on this it would help a couple of us.
