Ok,

I know there are few plugins out there that will "compress" or "Duck" two different sound sources together. Iam looking for a plugin that will morph the sounds together to give a blended sound rather than duck out 1 frequency to allow another 1 through.. I find that elevayta space boy creates a nice space for bass kick over bass drums.. but it's not as good for mid-midhi keyboard sounds.. I've heard of 1 that kinda does what im looking for its called sinsoudal I think.. Anyhow any help is greatly appreciated!! :)

Ironically it really is now, isn't it? And it was the first thing I could think of when looking at the title ;)

Well it's either that or you could always use a ringmodulator with dual audio inputs or a vocoder to step by step melt all tracks together. If noting else it should at least be.. err.. interesting :D

Majken we tend to jump to conclusions about subject lines until we actually read the contents of the message an are awakened from our ignorace... ;) Anyhow I will try that idea of using a vocoder.. Any that dont sound like crap.. Pro versions??

you are pretty much stuck with what you have found. btw space boy is the same thing as ether, except its new and its stereo. ehter is a more pronounced effect if you ask me. a vocoder is the same too, although the principal is in reverse.

i would try to mash things together with a saturation circuit.

you might try resynthesis haha!

Spectrumworx has lots of interesting functions which can do this kind of thing in true stereo (i.e. 4 inputs -> 2 outputs). I've used it to 'pluck' noise sources with my guitar and such things.

edit: I should add, Spectrumworx can also do the more subtle kind of effects that Wavethresh does (only in stereo) as well as the more out there ones.

I believe you're looking to convolve the sounds together. I think SoundHack will do this for the Macintosh. So will SuperCollider (mostly a Mac app, but also available for Windows and Linux...but really difficult to use). I dunno, there might be a plugin out there that will do it. I don't know of one offhand, though..
