What do you use as your main DAW? I know it is individual choice. But It will be nice to know what is the most favorite among users.
Tools are tools, they don't produce anything...

Orion Platinum, feeding audio tracks into (currently) Tracktion for mastering. I might switch to Reaper for mastering, though, since it has folder track support (useful for large, messy projects).

Linux Mint, Waveform 13 Pro, U-He synths, Audio Damage effects,.

I've got half the stuff on your list, but I really prefer working in Cubase.

I think it's wrong to put Cubase and Nuendo in the same line. There is Cubase SE/LE (which a lot of us receive actually for free with some audio interfaces) and there is SL and SX, which probably the most of "Cubase users" do use.
On the other hand you have Nuendo which is used by a small fraction of Steinberg customers which work sound for the video/film industry or even mastering.
For accurate results you should separate them.

Steinberg has Cubase LE/SE/SL/SX and Nuendo. According to steinberg comparisan Chart Nuendo Has everything what CubaseSX has with same architecture and sound engine, Plus some network, video and Studio Features additionally. But with latest SX3 they have further reduced the difference by adding video features. So I kept them in the same catagory.

You didn't list Project5?

or Buzz or MadTracker or Bidule

& i agree with separating Nuendo and Cubase

also, make another category: Sony Vegas. Many ppl dont like ACID (or at least didn't w/v5) and used the video program Vegas.

i've been a cubase user for several years, but recently switched over to energyXT...so i chose the latter since its what im using as my main daw right now. i dont know yet whether it will remain my main daw or if i will find myself going back to cubase in time, but im really digging eXT at the moment.

you could just add a fish option.
You still haven't listed *all* the music studios.
I myself use several thingies, most of which are not on your list.
I'm pretty sure others have this same problem with this poll.
