Paul,

Any chance of offering some way to change the resolution - aka the screen size - of MG in the next release. The small footprint can actually be a bonus at times when there is a dozen other VST/Windows open, but it would be nice to be able to beef up the size on my 19" when I'm doing a lot of editing.

cheers,

Hi NthBeatle
I will have to talk to Berend to see if the actual resolution can be changed for guys like yourself that want this.

Also ManyGuitar is skinnable but no one has offered to do an additional skin yet. Like the Mini Loader skin that is also included .... A Big version could be possible i think.

But one of the BIG problems with changing Skin sizes is that some Hosts do not see the change and still open the GUI in the old size. (Untill you rescan the whole VST folder etc or input custom sizes.)
I think Sonar for one is like this and it tends to mess users up a bit as the plug loads all messed ;-)
But lets see what Berend says about changing the size...
Also he has been so Busy on the ManyOne GUI ...i kind of dare to ask ;-) He sent me a preview today it had the Wow factor!
I'll Post a Pic soon in our forum.

I'll point him here anyway ....

Thanks again
Paul

Yes, you can change the skin size but it's a massive amount of work: 23 new bitmaps, 500 coordinates recalculated. I have too much work at hand for the next couple of weeks to even think about making a large ManyGuitar skin. But if someone else thinks he's up to the task I'd be glad to give support.

Just to clarify: the skin design is absolutely awesome! I love the retro layout, switches, etc, and would not change a thing. And as far as the size is concerned, would it be worth two or three days of my time - or yours - to create a new one? I'd say no; I'd rather be writing, and I'd rather you continue producing other great skins like NuBi, Spinner, ManyStation, etc!

thanks,
