hi stefancrs,
cool development. Are you distributing the latest schematic somewhere? I can't seem to find it. I wouldn't mind taking a look at the softclip code. No fuss if it's something you'd rather keep behind the curtain.

The soft clipper is in the compressor module (which is based upon this one) in the toolbox in SynthMaker

There's that four band parametric EQ, and a rehauled GUI for the compressor. Could export these as VST if you haven't got SynthMaker and want to try them out.

Here we go:

Compressor

Equalizer
Let us know if there are any bugs / weird behaviour!
Regarding the slow/fast selection on the EQ, if you do lots of fast automation, the "fast" mode might use less CPU, but both modes sounds the same.

about the eq:
as a vst eq I would say it needs a general gain, less max gain per band (having a general gain could be enough as you could set it lower), a larger window, a low and high shelves. also having the band near to the right edge is annoying if you want to edit the Q. maybe a ctrl+click on the band to edit the Q.
as a synthmaker creation, I would say, I m impressed to see what synthmaker can do, it sounds good, looks good.
sadly synthmaker will be too expensive for me, at least at the moment, but hey, who know, if I fing enough money.
maybe I ll send you some question about making midi vsts.

stefancrs,
the compressor knob sensitivity is set ridiculously high. How about using a sensitivity of, say 0.05? A compressor needs to have that precise control.
As for the compression performance/sound, the word that comes to mind is 'flaky'. Almost like it's missing a processing stage of some kind, or the envelope follower is far too simplified? Might have to look at the schematic myself.

By all means, have a look! (It is the standard toolbox one afterall)
I don't quite understand what you find wrong about it, so if you feel up to it, elaborate on that one as well
For me, something flaky is something that unexpectadly stops working every now and then etc
How about the controlsin this version?
