The steinberg loudness maximizer still is one of the best to my ears, and more transparent then most.I have it aswell.It should've never been discontinued but improved upon along with the rest of mastering edition to.

Yes, it too still sounds better then many plugins of its kind today.Altho mastering edition is a old bundle a few of its plugins compete well with many just released plugins.

I'm also thinking why Steinberg dropped development of Loudness Maximizer. Very good plugin, very transparent sound. Even today.

Dynasone is my all time favourite.

Actually I have a second machine running sonicworx on OS 9 which is still the best mastering/editing software I have seen. A pity that it's discontinued...

Algorithmix Orange/Red oder PLParEQ10 for Eqing; for saturation Hydratone and TapeBus (also sparkling), sometimes URSN12 (for special highs)

Overall "in your face" - sound: Vitalizer MK2-T and driving TapcoMix100 into saturation (5-9 db over Zero) A litte bit shinyness and Overdrive: Inflator

Komp: Hm, not sure, but Powercore 24/7C does a good job, also Blockfish. Try also Mb almost compressor and the other one
Limiting hell's out: Elephant
(Hard and smashing compressing always only in tracks or groups not on summingbus)

Giving missing fundamental effect back to lowcutted bass-area: RenBass or Maxxbass

Stereowideness: Vitalizer MK2-T and/or Voxengo MSED
