The pitch-shift effect was autotune. There is also a slight vocoder-ish quality to some of those notes, which may or may not have been a digitech talkbox thing, the producers were cagey about the use of autotune for obvious reasons.

Now let it die, please... :roll: :bang:

One of the features of the "Cher's vocoder" is that is was aplied to some syllabes only. That's what the producer said in a interview.

But then he was denying it was Autotune too... :shrug: ,
