So you see MIDI signal in MIDI track, MIDI light flashes on VSTi - but no sound? Do you get sound if you open up the Key Editor and press a key with the mouse?

I ve tried with Stylus rmx, absynth 3 ,cameleon 5000,and every time I got the same problem.
Then I ve opened Reason 3,but there is no midi indication at all...sequencers recognize midi signal, but no sound at all:(

Wow. I do not know what to tell you. How does your keyboard send MIDI to computer? What is your MIDI device?

Yes. So you have:hrza wrote:my keyboard sends midi data via the Terratec ewx 24/96 soundcard?is that what you mean?
KAWAI MIDI OUT -> Terratec MIDI IN.
I'm not sure. I hope somebody else can help, this setup works fine for me at home.

Maybe you need to setup your sound card mixer? I have Terratec ews 88MT which i think use the same dirver/mixer Phase 88 control panel. I had this problem years ago, and the problem was the routing inside Phase 88 control panel, I solved it like this:
Under the Signal Routing section in the Setting tab. The first source should be Digital Mixer -> PCI Out 1/2.
If this is not the problem then maybe you need to choose the correct midi driver inside Cubase!

Using: Cubase Pro 15, Bitwig 5, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.
