Who likes the arpeggiator in Toxic 2? I have an Idea!!

Let's get Maxx Claster to make a MIDI FX version of that badass arpeggiator inside Toxic 2, that way we can use it on anything we want.
It's the same one in Octapus too.

I would pay $10.00 to $20.00 right now for that arpeggiator as a MIDI effect.

For a couple of dollars more you can get Energy XT right now, use it as a vst and run any synth through the built in arp. Very powerful plus you get a ton of other features as well.

havent touched it since it borked up one of my tunes, it just sits and rots on my HDD.

i was told to wait until Vxx update, and im not gonna risk losing work.

Is this a problem with the version that comes with OP or are you referring to the VSTi?

To be honest I haven't really used my Toxic (from OP) yet - its OK but I have other, better DX synths.

That's a shame, Toxic is a really great addition to Orion. If I remember correctly it had to do with render to wav with parameter automation in Toxic? Renders fine here with simple filter cutoff automation but I only tried 16bit 44.1K resolution.

I'm with Riley on the Toxic2 arp...it's one of the best "built ins" I have, and as he says, is the same as the one on Octopus.

I've got a number of ways of arp'ing (not including me 'arp, celtic not celestial, of courst), but I still wish there was a perfect and simple one, y' know?

The properties of which would be:

1. a GUI that lets you do the +3, -2, +12 idiot version of arpeggio/sequence design, with up to 128 steps.

2. a way of breaking out of 4/4 time, with some preset frames for different time sigs

3. A second GUI screen that has the 'piano roll' thing for those who happen to be thinking in terms of notes, at that moment.

4. A third GUI screen with drop-down menus that lets you (a) click a start point (C3, F#4, whatever) (b) set a range (1,2,3...octaves) (c) specify arp'ing a specific chord type rooted on that note and (d) also allows you to arp (say) the basic western modes, a few alternative scales.

5. As a bonus, chuck in 'randomization' of the result, a 'click to save' and a way of storing those outcomes for patching into longer sequences.

You can find elements of this stuff everywhere, and I'm sure there's some humungous, expensive NI solution...but I'm thinking FL/ACID simple, and $35-50. I'll wait patiently till then...call it ArpoMarx, and say Funxi sent ya...

I love the sequencer in TOxic, but:

- I wish you could adjust the swing's amount
- Is there a way to make the sequencer not trigger the envelopes?

it works perfectly in my host for other ppl too, so maybe its just me....
