Chainer vs. V-Stack

I'd say that depends how you're using Chainer... V-Stack is a very different beast...

I have both. Chainer is way better, but it's been quite awhile since I used V-Stack.

V-Stack is as outdated and unsupported as Chainer, so keep your fingers off!
If you are a "traditional" live keyboarder go for Brainspawns forte (http://www.brainspawn.com/). If you are more into experimenting or electronic stuff check out energyXT. Or get the best of both worlds and run energXT (http://www.xt-hq.com/) as a plugin in forte!
Here at K-V-R is also a brilliant forum for energyXT.

I found out that the main difference between both VST hosts is the missing of plugin automation in V-Stack. So I will stay with Chainer.
