Hey Bassballjg,
I just tried your outline a few pages back for importing multiple samples into instruments - WOW! That feature alone will cut hours off my time! (luckily I'd named and stored my samples in a compatible format)

BTW I think you left out the step where you actually get it into VS. I think I figured it out though ;) Had to push the Blue Import Button, and have all the instruments selected, with the first instrument selected in VS at the desired bank.

Thanks again for your input, can't wait to discover more hidden treats! :D

Hmmmm...Sorry Garth, maybe I should start a new "VS for SF2" thread?

Yep, you're right I left out that step. But I'm glad it wasn't too hard for you to figure out, and that you are getting some milage out of the auto loading and ranging. It is a huge timesaver.

[Quick note: why do people chose to issue complaints just out of... nowhere? Oh well... ]
Because when people (legitimately) feel somewhat ripped off, maybe they feel obligated to complain.

Actually, I was never told that BEFORE I bought the product. In FACT, it was not mentioned at all when I placed my order.

You did, however, mention it when I complained in another thread and you gave the same lame, lying response about them being ready "soon". Maybe someone forgot to tell you that YELLING at a paying customer, whom you have ripped-off to a certain extent, is not only rude, but it is bad for business. I can only hope that you lose some of that potential business when someone sees how respectfully you treat your customers, and when they see how committed you are to delivering what those customers paid for.

NO, when you PAY for something, the vendor is OBLIGATED to fulfil what you've PAID for. When the vendor does not do that, the vendor is a FRAUD. I PAID to have that CD shipped (and presumably manufactured). By not shipping that CD, you are ripping me off whatever amount I paid for a physical copy and the shipping cost. I should not have to spend one microsecond contacting you to remind you to fulfill an OBLIGATION YOU MADE WHEN YOU ACCEPTED MY MONEY. No, rather, because of your attitude, I would rather spend too much time warning people not to give you any of their money.

What a crappy outlook you have on how to treat paying customers.

Gentlemen! I think if you purchased a download copy of the product along with a backup CD it is ok when the CD is delivered later. Also, if this is a CD purchase and the CD is not available and you are given the option to download the product and there is nothing that prevents you fom doing it (after all, you purchased on the 'net) this is also OK. After all you got the product you paid for so I can't see why you would feel ripped off... Assuming the price for the download and CD copy is the same, of course.
