TSV (yes, the KVR user) has released two new skins for Blue Cat's Chorus:

You can download them for free as well as other skins on http://software.bluecatonline.org/Skins/Product_Chorus/

By the way the plug-in is freeware and can be downloaded here:

Thanks again TSV, nice job!

Very very nice! Looks like I could reach out and turn the knobs by hand. :D

EDIT: Can't seem to get the skin to change. Right click, Select Load Skin but nothing appears. What is the proper way to store skins? In their own folder inside the Skins folder? Outside the skins folder? Thanks!

The proper way to do it is just unzip the file anywhere, and then select "Load Skin". It should open the standard Windows "Open File" dialog and let you choose the skin file.

If you cannot see the "File Open" dialog, there might be an issue. Can you tell us what your OS and host are? Do you have the latest version of the plug-in (2.0)?

Thanks for your feedback.

Really great look to these, crisp and classy. I'm sorted for chorus though so I haven't tried the plugins.

Those are sweet. Very realistic.

Ok I got it now. The skins work on my WinXp DAW but not my Internet computer (Win98se) :D

The plug-in only works on DAW computers :D ...

Actually it is not designed to work on Win9x (going to update the "requirements" section of these plug-ins, it's not up to date and says Win 98 is supported). Thanks for your feedback! I hope you are now satisfied with it.

here's my comment:

i like the chorus, it really sounds nice...BUT:

after i installed the chorus-plugin,
it turns-off my explorer.exe
turns-off my firewall and anti-virus etc..

it just knocks off anything!! :x :x :x

but that only happens,
whenever "i touch" and try to open the "chorus-folder"

so, after i removed it,
this shitttt stopped, and all was good!

don't know if it is only a serious "bug"
within the software,
or if it contains a virus on purpose!

Huhu, it's the first time I ever hear about such an issue. Did you install the VST or the DX version? Do you work in Windows XP?

There is no virus inside as far as the anti viruses we use to check the software know about it, and you are the first person to report such a thing. It seems probable to me that you have another issue with your system, which made windows crash (would explain the explorer.exe and all the rest going away...). The thing about the "chorus" folder could be due to the fact that it contains images, and that makes the explorer do some work (for thumbnails generation).

Do you have admin rights on your machine? Did you try a reboot rather than complete uninstall?

Very well done. I like the first one the most.
