I demo'd their products once and although i deleted the demos when i go to add and remove programs their names still listed with the rest of my programs. I can't remove the listing of their names.i've tried add and remove programs,i've gone to my registry keys, i've went to c drive and manually deleted but still no success. There must be some hidden files somewhere on my computer.

It's an interesting device, kind of like Elemental Audio's Neodynium: I'm sure it's great, but it's a little too unfamiliar to catch on. The funny thing: their mastering compressor is a fraction of the cost.

Oh, sounddesigner: I meant to mention - try CCleaner, it has a great uninstaller section (you don't have to wait for the freakin' Unsintall Applet to build) and you can delete uninstall entries there, usually.

I own Dynamix and I like it, but you have to be careful with the input gain since it distorts as you push the gain up to within the "warming" threshold. That said, though, it can give nice results if used carefully. It's got more parameters than the NWMaxx plug, and one band of EQ. I would sort of liken it to Vintage Warmer in that it compresses while adding a distinct analog color.
Here is my small version:

Yeah, the NWMaxx is definitely simpler - I was just surprised, because as soon as you slap "MASTERING" on something, the price instantly boosts up past $100; but its their day-to-day compressor that has that price. But I must say, it's still a pretty average price for a compressor, if one looks at all of the commercial ones.Frippertronix wrote:I own Dynamix and I like it, but you have to be careful with the input gain since it distorts as you push the gain up to within the "warming" threshold. Did you try it? If it means anything, in that price range, I'd probably go with something like Kjearhus or PSP. But I don't fully "get" this plugin. And I think it has a terminally soft sound. I like their synths and filters, though.

Nasty! You should let WWAYM know about it. Great synth though - make sure you grab the freebie.
