What do you mean, Liqih has done heaps of stuff without WK. In this instance, I imagine Liqih designed the architecture and the DSP, and William and Liqih did the programming.vista wrote:... without WilliamK ?liqih wrote:...a synth I designed...

ahh man, I don't really have the energy to argue, but no-one only mentioned liqih, liqih just came and said thanks for thread, just like William can too. No one excluded anyone, so I don't understand why there is a problem, but whatever.vista wrote: if this is right, WilliamK should
be mentioned in a dahornet appreciation thread too, or
what do you think ?

as design yes, I did the research on the original Wasp and the made the DSP stuff, the "sound" so to say, vista wrote:... without WilliamK ?liqih wrote:...a synth I designed...
but of course at that time we were running Dash toghether and so the programming, surely we must thank William too for the release of daHornet, he made some very cool presets for the default bank as well,

Wasn't there a Spider or Black Widow or some other arachnid themed version as well? Love "DAHornet"!
Vst's are the glue for my musical monster model. Nuendo is my huff bag.

The Spider was a dedicated Sequencer for the Wasp / Gnat series.. It used to connect together using a (not-midi) 5 pin din connector.MarsHottentot wrote:Wasn't there a Spider or Black Widow or some other arachnid themed version as well? Love "DAHornet"!
There were other versions like the delux which had alternate colour schemes, and also some had a proper moving keyboard.
All of the hardware versions command high prices now and the rarer delux versions even more.. A search on the infrweb for EDP or electronic Dream Plant will turn up more details.

DaHornet was my first "real" VSTi synth (I got it for free by winning a Dash Signature songwriting contest using only DaHornet, ComboSister, and DaAlpha.. I would later go on to buy ComboSister using click-through ad credits and DaAlpha for full price).
DaHornet still rocks.

It is a gorgeous demo indeed. We use Jens alot for audio demos at pro-sounds. In fact, I believe he's working on one for the adder collection....jens wrote:TotcProductions wrote:Ya know what makes it even better!?

More to the point though, there are some demo presets available at our website. Check'em out. DaHornet Collection will be getting a major facelift as well within the coming months, any registered users will recieve this v1.5 update free of charge...so no reason not to buy now.
Peace
