V1.4 is in beta now, just checked the forum and it looks like it's already at release candidate 1.

So I would guess based on that, barring any bad unforeseen stuff, any time in the next month.

Don't know for sure. I know there'll be an undo function, some colour adjustment controls, and keyboard shortcuts. Other than that, I haven't seen the list. Rex import is slated for the next update after this one.

Not that I can tell. Also doesn't appear to trigger slices with MIDI notes, but maybe I'm missing something. Other MIDI learn, I'm not sure what MIDI stuff it can do.

Strikes me as it is designed to be an audio editor/recorder/loop tuner. Has a drag selection to other apps function, and has destructive editing with an undo history.

One down side to workflow is that a lot of stuff is accessed only through menus, like cut/copy/paste. Doesn't seem to work with keyboard shortcuts, although maybe that's a host issue, since some hosts don't allow keystrokes to pass onto the plugin effectively.

So far Edison doesn't look like a be all/end all, but it does seem like a useful tool to run alongside your other plugins.

they work in the FL version, but -and yes it's a big downside- we couldn't manage to make them work in the VSTi.
