By any chance was it BetaBugs Shredder? It was a sort of buffering audio slicer thing (and was grey if I can remember right). Think it's still in beta. D/L link seems to be dead, but here's the original thread:

I use that live with vocal samples - a stunning piece of software :hail:

Also useful for turning someones voice into a howling storm of glitch noise :D

thanx all, but it still hasn't come up. i remembered that i've archived some vst on cd. i'll let yall know if i find it

if phutboy had ALL the divisions mapped in a row and had the same keys also trigger the stutter, it'd be the same plug
