I've had it for quite a while and would sell it if I could.

No portamento and no way to map more than just a few performance controls, etc..., kinda kills it for me...

Yes, I think there was talk about adding a superbly flexible portamento (per oscillator!!) but I never heard any more of it. Anybody? News?

portamento was implemented, and I don't see what you mean with mapping, about every param is automatable, and this through 3 ways

Oh, you're right about the portamento mr Gol!

As far as the mapping, I mean a few more XY performance type controllers that affect many different parameters, as opposed to directly mapping a controller knob to a knob.

perhaps someone here can answer this question for me. does the demo of sytrus support the loading of user presets? while testing the demo, i tried saving some presets i made but none would load. i havent found any listing of what the demo's limitations are so i've been unsure if this is a demo thing, or if there is some sort of incompatibility with my system...and as much as i like the synth, im not about to take a $180 chance that i might not be able to load presets i've saved.

also, while im asking, anyone know if there's a chance of another sale / group buy on sytrus in the not too distant future?

Sytrus demo does load, but does not save (it's the same limitation for all of the Image-Line plugins, and FL itself). So you actually didn't save anything.

btw, is that mentioned anywhere in the sytrus docs or at the site? im assuming i probably missed it, but if not, it probably ought to be.

Click the little down arrow and a menu option is there.
