Hey Frettedsynth,
I just wanted to say thanks for FreeAmp SE. I had kinda' overlooked your awesome plugin until recently. Man, great tone. I dare say it sounds better than the commercial amp sims I've played with. And now, there's gonna' be an update!? That's great news! :D

Anyway, just wanted to take the opportunity to say thanks.

There's nothing profound I can contribute to this thread, other than to say that with a serious reduction in CPU use, this is certain to be an absolutely fantastic amp sim. :tu:

The current version is a beauty, minus that one deficit. :hail:

Being a lazy bastard, "the more presets the better." :hihi:

Good news! Hope it's soon? :hyper:

When 1.5 comes out, will the original still be available (as a legacy plugin or something)?

I ask because I already know I like the original and it works pretty well on my system, so there's the chance that if something happens and I lose my current copy of it, I might want the original as well.

:D I'm about 99.99999% sure that you will feel that v1.5 blows v1.1 away :D
But will see if others would like this option too once released?

And I now dare to say this also, can't wait till you all hear\have the new version.
Should have it uploaded to a temp site to begin testing for the weekend?

Thanks all

Quick q.

That phaze.distortion synth, does it actualy track the note of an audio input and convert it to a midi note, or is it different? Would it be difficult to add a midi output to it so you can trigger other synths with it? I've been looking at a few audio-midi plugins and I cant seem to get anything decent out of them - your synth tracks it rather well, so would that be possible?

Hi WoJ

No! PhazOsc uses no MIDI for audio trigger, it instead uses control voltage which gives much more range then MIDI could ever give. If I created a MIDI version all the smooth bends and wiggles would be gone :( That is why I started the synths in the first place, to provide more control.

Freaking CPU use rules. Sounds are good this has come full circle man. It really sense me playing harder and somehow adjusts itself and I heard 0 artifacts. It plays like a real amp and is going to sit VERY well in the mix. Great shit man. Good job, now it's up to me on the GUI eh? :D

There are only the two meters but can you elaborate? I'm going to pencil up a sketch soon and will post in a new thread for it. How come FrettedSynth doesn't have their own KVR forum? Is it only for commercial guys or?

Tingle, please post some pics of the meters you are referring to :)
