Funny...when I go to www.flstudio.com to check out this deal, I am greeted by a Google ad for Cakewalk's Sonar and Project 5. :D

Is Edison basically EZeditor? Can we get Edison for FL Studio please? :)

I would love to have a full featured, easy to use audio editor within FL Studio. Or is this EZeditor's purpose?

Cheers!

Apparently it is EZeditor's replacement and will be in FL at some yet-to-be-announced date.

I've added the JuicePack to the products that contribute to the reduction
but I can't gurantee that this will remain the case as the reduction scheme
got out of control with the introduction of XXL.
Sold. Thanks very much for your kindness, generousity, and understanding.

It's probably on the FLS [ http://flstudio.com ] webiste under the section for FX (basically a reprint of the Help file).

This is great news,

The plugins are real gems, I've been missing them since moving to Sonar (yes despite the great effects that come with sonar too!).

Also, Cheers for the discount for existing users..

which is pretty damn cheap for a nice suite of plugins you can use in any VST compatible host!

Hell, Edison alone is worth that.

Indeed. It's powerful as hell. I was stacking edisons after each other in T2 and playing with the scrub. Pretty cool effects can be achieved just by combining edisons ;)

If only it supported moving each sample point like soundforge then I could throw away soundforge. The rest is pretty awesome. Love the mousewheel implementation. And of course the UI is top quality as expected :)

$67 is fair price IMO for what you get. Not only is edison great, but the plugins themselves are excellent -- equos is incredibly good and the fruity vocoder is an easy to use good sounding vocoder. The delaybank is insanely powerful and the multiband compressor is totally versatile and musical IMO.

The thing that rounds this pack out is the midi learn functions. It's really a joy to go from FL to anywhere else now. I love the parameteric EQ in FL and I love it even more now that I know I can apply it without depending on FLS.

Initially I thought "man that's a bummer I can't buy them all separately" but now that I am using them in T2 playing around doing some initial tests, they are worth every penny and each compliments each other very well. Most of the staple effects are covered here the only exception being no Fruity Reeeeeeeeverb ;) but that can be used outside of FLS anyway and from what I know the latest version of reeverb IN FL6 is only a UI update anyway :) otherwise it's pretty much the best of the FL plugs IMO.

Edison is the superstar because he's new but each of these effects/plugins are awesome in their own right too. I think it's worth $67, after using it I think it's more than fair price and competitive with other "suites" of effects at $99 too.

I was thinking about this, because like you I use tracktion.

Reflex: what if you created set sizes DLL for each for those of us using hosts that aren't compat with the resizable windows? That way we could instantiate edison at his desired size, as those configured through the plug itself but just as separate DLLs with the resolution sizes appended;

Edison-default.dll
Edison-640.dll

etc?

Post

well the thing is you could also do it with just one dll (maybe not drag resizeable but switching would work - at least it did with quantum-fx and Tracktion)
