AKAI ROTATOR alternatives ?

hi,

does anybody know good (maybe free) alternatives
to the "Rotary Speaker Cabinet" emu
from Akai as plugin ?

Donate to PJ Geerlings for the Nubi plugin pack, and get a screaming good Leslie cabinet sim in Spinner (possibly SpinnerLE is now free? But screw that, just donate).

If you need one as a DX version - AIPL's SpinCycle is quite good one.

if that was automatable and vst I would atill consider that one the best of the lot. It was/is bloody brilliant. Oh and they need to fix teh denormals too bUt i dont think it's ever going to get updated:(

Agreed. Version 2.1 of SpinCycle is dated 11/2000.

As they have patented those excellent algorithms used on SpinCycle, I think, they (AIPL) propably are willing to either make new applications (like VST versions)/develope present version or sell licence for the technology to other developers, if there is a great demand for this.
Maybe they are just waiting for some great(er) demand for "VST version"/"DX version updates,bug fixes,feature developement,..."?
