Tracktion doesn't allow resizing? Really? Isn't that one of the big features of using the JUCE framework?

How does PPMulator work with Tracktion since its window is resizeable?

well I guess since the plug-in credits only state gol and not the ultrafunk guys I guess it's a different verb.... but yeah I would've like to see Reeverb2 in there as well....

Hrm not sure about that. Synth1 has to maintain it's sizes externally. When I open synth1 and it's at 160% say, then I resize to 200%, if I hide/reshow it it's still the same size until I replace or remove/readd the synth1 back. So I dunno how it could have worked? Maybe they did something special with VST API to get the resize event to be sent to Tracktion? I'm pulling this out of my ass btw, because I know nothing about VST API and only a little about event driven programming etc. :)

Hrm. What is URL to quantum-fx? If reflex saw it in action maybe he could deduce how they did it and we could get groovy multiple resolution Edisons in T2 :)

well it was the old version that did this the new version has several dll's

btw if gol reads this how about a stereo seperation control within EQUO instead of JUST pan.... so you could take a stereo file and center the low frequencies for example

I'm sure it's possible.... but PPM was also built using juce so maybe that's the culprit... don't know really.... but reflex just send a pm to beno and he will surely be glad to help you out

It's got nought to do with using JUCE or not... energyXT has been resizing in Tracktion just fine for years. I'll have to try the demos though, as these sound like some really cool plugins.

right... it does

btw grymmjack how is it possible to use the fruity reeverb in other hosts.... I see it and can edit it but the sound doesn't change... other Fruity VST plugs work fine but some just don't and Fruity Reeverb seems to be one of em

Hrm I think you are right :) I just assumed since I copied it over to my fruity vst folder and it didn't get ignored by tracktion it would work. I've never tried to actually use them just assumed it would work. However upon testing it in MiniHost and loading a wavefile sample and fruity reeverb apparently it doesn't emit any sound. I dunno. Maybe there is some proprietary lock inside that will stop them from working. I figured since they had no UI's and were around for so long in FL it would be possible.

I guess I was wrong :) Which plugins do work? Hrm..

chorus, reeverb, compressor, flanger, phaser all dont work. Odd. :) I wonder if it's a coincidence that they don't work externally after JuicePack was released? :?:

I thought for sure I used reeverb before in cubase though. Hrm. ponderous :P

Post

the simple waceshaper does.... the free filter.... the 7 band EQ..... the phaser did for me (I think) and some others

We can't release a VST version of the Fruity Reeverb (1 or 2) because of license reasons (they're from Ultrafunk).

Ahh. Bummer. gol; props on edison, man. it's beautiful (you spoil us) and powerful.
