No, not missing, it's not (yet) there.ttoz wrote:the thing i don't like so far is that there is no numerical indication of precisely where you are dropping and dragging clips...Also to be able to have a "properties" infor for a highlighted clip giving you a summary. Or am i missing something obvious?

I think we should go for this strategy:> DiGiT < wrote:i hear that. numerical values are very helpful in some instances. but luna is new, im sure all that stuff will be added to the unlimited version, and some will trickle down to the free version.
marco... are you using the 'globe' icon in the middle of the two scroll bars? its a zoom out to 100% button. very handy.
what id like is if you highlight something in the track window and then zoom, for the focus to remain the selected object, or if theres no object selected, then just the cursor position. or, how about a miniature of the arrangement in its entirity above the actual arrangement view, so you can click anywhere in its miniature and have the actual disply follow accordingly, like wavelab?
When zooming with mouse-wheel, center zoom at mouse cursor
When zooming with scrollbar buttons, center zoom at middle of window
(when zooming with scrollbar buttons would center around middle of selected objects, that could lead to confusing situations i think; so let's keep it simple. what do you think?)

[quote="Rangtangtang"]- Can you add a wave file, cannot see it so far..
I guess you found this already, but:
->Click-drag with the pencil in the composer
->Choose "Audio Part" from the popup menu
->Choose the wave file you want to play
That's it

i guess id have to say that if you made the cursor position the start place/marker place for all operations (such as zoom and paste and insert, etc) it wouldnt be confusing at all. ok maybe if the selected object is the focus for zoom, things could get hairy, but lets abandon that idea and go for the cursor idea, at least when using the buttons... i hate having to correct the trajectory of a zoom after its already zoomed in. i like the scroll wheel idea a lot too. anything that can double up tasks on a mouse and make it a more useful input device haha! nice on Jo (zooming 'issue')
Just out of interest I see how much effort seems to be going into this you don't code it all alone do you ?
