Logic update from 4.0 to NEW version - not possible or?

Hi everyone,

I'm a Logic 4.0 owner, but since I'm still running on PC, I obviously can't use the new versions - that is unless I buy a Mac. Which I'm ready to do. But now it seems like it's not even possible to make the Logic 4->7 update? In all the online shops, it says "update from 5/6 to 7". I find this highly unfair, since I actually own both Logic AND the initial boxed EXS24 sampler which wasn't cheap (!)- meaning that I've spent a quite big amount of money on Emagic/Apple.

Can someone please tell me, that it's (off course) possible to make the 4->7 update when I switch to Mac? (I know that there are other PC-sequencers including Tracktion, Cubase and others, all of which I've owned and tried, but for different reasons never really fell in love with the same way I did with Logic, though Tracktion is a great piece of software, but still lacks important features)...

Kind regards,
Think77

Not possible I'm afraid. Updates to Logic Pro are only available from Logic 5 and up (ie all XSkey versions)

It's one of the prices you pay if you don't stay up to date for a long time (Logic 4.x was what, 8 years ago now..?

You'll have to buy the full package I'm afraid.
