Paid FX, not free, but really cheap - like Audio Damage's product line, they cost really little... but what else is there???

The library included with Reaktor 5 is fantastic Filters, Multiband compressor & limiter, Great Reverb, Guitar amp, distortion, comb filters & an infinte library on line.
Oh plus you get dozens of synths and samplers drum machines, granulizers, etc

For what you get it works out pretty damn cheap

I wanted something new, something I haven't really tried before. I'm gonna get the Buzzroom CL series of compressors actually, so this thread is kinda redundant now.

As to your suggestion though, its a good idea. Max is a little finicky when making VST plugins, but it can be done. I just go no firm ideas

Likewise QuantumFX, although the effects are generally more 'traditional' than Reaktor's.

Although, as I intimated, he already has MAX/MSP.

You'll find THIS gives you tons of cool effects which you can re-arrange however you like. It sounds cool, is very easy to use, and cheap considering what you get. Its everything you could want!

Well, the CL series is a good choice, very cool character compressors.

Should you go looking again, some options for some interesting places to look might be:

Clone Ensemble
Elevayta
4Front
Acon
Anarchy Sound
Delaydots
WWAYM
EmptySquare (you get a collection of excellent effects when you donate for the Nubi bundle)
and I was going to add Blue Cat, but just noticed he got in first.

I've tried to keep price under 50 Euros (or slightly more expensive bundles of several effects).

Nothing, but I'm guessing he has everything free that he wants. If he wants more but has exhausted his free resources, chances are he's going to move on to good and cheap.

But, then again, some folk just like spending money.
