i like to use alot of crossfading between samples, not to avoid clicks but as an effect, using another track to do it all the time becomes tedious as well as space consuming

you can crossfade all you want in one track - events are allowed to overlap - was that what you wanted to know? Although I don't provide a specific cross-fading tool, you can use the A,D and R parameters to change the attack, decay and release to your liking. There is no automatic cutting of the actual playback, although the representations of the events in the GUI are not allowed to overlap, as I found this was very confusing. Perhaps if I make events semitransparent one day I'll change this.
hope this helps

basically that's how LS works. if you want to crossfade in other slicers you also have to trigger two sound simultaniously with two midi-notes, haven't you?stale bread wrote:using another track to do it all the time becomes tedious as well as space consuming
i think layering two sounds on top of each other in one track will not work as you can't see all events anymore then. or did i get you wrong again?
