you're really into compressors, aren't you?
NO,i'm a audio beginning,i like record and mix;i just think that the compress is the most important in the recording/mixing process.but the compress is valuableness, so i want to find a best compressor.

SawCompressor = SawStudio+SawStudio's compressor(it is very good)

in fact,i'm bother with dynamic and loud;
in many time,i use several compressor in the track(snare\kick\vocoal),the first compressor I use 30MS attack time and 60ms release time,i just "clean" the track;the second compressor i use 1(or 5)ms attack time and 100ms release time to control dynamic.at last,i use a compressor "TbT's plugins" control the loud;but i cann't find the balance of them(dynamic and loud)!

guys,did you had this bother in the day's work?

thanks

Also:

Chunkware Vanilla Compressor
E-Phonic Xpressor
Kjaerhus Classic Compressor and Classic Limiter
TbT is a no brainer, but I'm liking Vanilla comp lately. Seems pretty transparent so far and has a nice control set.
No brainer in a good way?
Yes, I meant "obvious choice". And lots of variety there as well. I recently discovered the joys of Saturated Driver on drums. 8)

I use BuzMaxi 2 all the time. Love it (more than v. 3, in fact).

Everyone try Progress Audio's free comp, too. A bit hard sounding but has an analog feel I like.

I have that bother in my days work all of the time. Its almost impossible to get things right on you first try, just look for the simplist solution. Over correcting will give you noise (I mean this in a broad sense, as in unwanted information).
