I heard alot of good things about CSR. I'm bought Waves IR1 v2 and really like the sound. Anyone been able to compare the IR1 VS. CSR
P.S.
Is CSR a convolution Rev?

CSR is not convolution it is a algorithm reverb. algo's and convo's are different beasts (like synths and samplers). I own both types.CSR is the best algorithm reverb i've heard. my best convo is wizooverb 2 (i'm sure waves ir1 is better). But if i could only have one reverb it would be CSR.CSR sounds silky smooth,UNIQUELY CHARACTERIZED,and somewhat transparent. CSR is very flexible-its many parameters and different reverb types allow for great reverb tailoring.bandasound wrote:I heard alot of good things about CSR. bandasound, have you ever used the IR1 Lexicon "FatPlate" impulse on vocals?

I prefer the Wizooverb and I'm not a waves basher. I love a lot of their stuff but Wizooverb just sounds so natural.my best convo is wizooverb 2 (i'm sure waves ir1 is better)

I've never heard waves ir1, but many have spoken highly of it and it costs $600, so i assume it must be a great reverb. But i also know waves have a habbit of overcharging for their stuff aswell!backpage wrote:I prefer the Wizooverb and I'm not a waves basher. P.S. I only paid $180 for my wizooverb 2!

I use the ryman auditorium file and really like the space and even smoothness. I sure would like to heard CSR but the Dongle deal is a deal breaker...yes ..im paced out already...all i need is more copy s^&T. Isnt that a shame. Whats wrong with challenge and response like Native Instruments.Anyone use IR1 with there own presets i would like to know.
so CSR is a delay based Rev with modulate in it?
