Hi BERFAB...your agreement is one person using one machine at a time...you can install it on any machines you want, but technically you cannot use it on two machines at the same time...I have seen jmc say this enough to repeat it with confidence. You are free to install it on both your machines and it's just password protection with a downloaded regkey (you do not have to have the machine you install it on connected to the internet, you can transfer via removable storage)...BERFAB wrote:O.k., I'm in...I'm about to pull the trigger on buying FL Studio, but before I do, I just want to check one thing. Can anyone tell me about their protection scheme? I would like to install a copy on my studio computer and my laptop. Do I need to buy 2 licenses? Or do they allow you a few courtesy installs?
Thanks

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

well I just went and read it and that is what it says, but I know that I have seen it posted by both jmc and elke that one person on one machine at a time...perhaps they changed the wording since I last read it, but it metters not...he still can install it on as many machines as he wants...but he can be the only one using it...it seems that the "at a time" has changed, perhaps because it would be hard to enforce and I don't see the need for using it on two machines at once coming up very oftenriley4reason wrote:Once again, this is directly from the website.
