I have to say, EkleipSiS, I still really like the Kaleid-Cyan skin. Nice and dark with a cool tech-like appearance and good contrast. Thanks

Oh its the first skin i've uploaded on asseca's site...the first skins ive made were more "unconventional"...theres some ive never made accessible...they are too weird...maybe i should get back to this style...GooGooMuck wrote:I have to say, EkleipSiS, I still really like the Kaleid-Cyan skin. Wow.. thats one of the best skins ive seen branis.. But could you change the color of that greenish yellow? I really cant decide what color would be better though..
The following statement is true.

Thanks mangrymmjack wrote: These skins are rocking ! I think I prefer standard over muteBut they are both excellent. How hard are you guys finding it to skin? I know that the program has built in skin builder thing, but haven't a clue how to compile a .gui file.. Or is that what eXT skin option does? Kind of confusing.
Keep these coming jon!
It's very easy to skin, no need to dig into the .gui file itself (that's why even I can skin eXT
There a few quirks, and some elements have down-states and some have separate elements for the downstate, but just ask here if you run into problems. Shouldn't be hard at all for you, though.

Ok cool thanks. Hey one question -- why do all the popup menus have transparency.. I want the popups to be fully opaque but couldn't sort out how to do turn off transparency in popups myself... It's very easy to skin, no need to dig into the .gui file itself (that's why even I can skin eXT) . The internal skin editor presents all the gui elements and lets you choose whether it's plain color or bitmap. It can stretch and tile bitmaps, and also make one color transparent (the alpha option is a bit buggy, but pHz invented a workaround). The editor can also copy & paste between graphics apps, but as I use vectors I've never done that. It can also dump all the bmps of a skin, I started by dumping the maps from default skin and got the sizes from that.
