sonar and ableton rewire question

i want to record each ableton live track as seperate audio tracks in sonar using rewire, how do i do this? everytime i set up rewire in sonar i can't make the dxi tracks arm for recording, all i get is the mute and solo option

Correct. Also, remember that you can't use any VST plugins inside Live when it's a ReWire slave; if you're using any synths inside Live you'll have to render to clips in Live first.kp wrote:Bounce to track

dont quote me on this, but i dont think its Live's fault. i always thought it was a restriction of rewire. maybe? a drag nonetheless.

I doubt it's ReWire's fault because you can use VSTs in FL when it's a ReWire slave.

It is a "Live" issue.
Basically, Ableton implemented rewire quite early in Live's development (before the program did any MIDI sequencing, for example) and haven't yet brought it up to date.
