Is there such a plugin that looks at incoming velocity data and "snaps" it to a matrix?

I guess it's a "velocity compressor" sorta? One that supported presets so I could create simple scales/response curves?

I know there are plugins that can take a velocity and scale it up, or down, but is there such a thing as a MIDI velocity compressor like this?

There are loads of MIDI plugs at the site, some are extremely cool with eXT.

hrm. nf_controlcurve may do it -- if I could take velocity into a CC then back out to velocity...?

VST MIDI velocity ramp/velocity compressor plugin?
