in the piano roll, when I select group of notes, they elongate instead of moving. What did I do!?!
I imagine it's just some setting I ticked. The notes will move vertically up and down the piano roll, but not right to left. I need left to right as there is still music left to write.
thanks

put the cursor over a clip not at the end of a clip your cursor should be like a diamond thing when moving and horizontal arrows when stretching...ouroboros wrote:in the piano roll, when I select group of notes, they elongate instead of moving. What did I do!?!

in my defense I broke my glasses and have been squinting all day, haven't made out the cursor change very well...... I was afraid I messed with some snap setting.
thanks guys.

I have the same problem
I think that this is a freakin' bug
after certain time... the piano roll makes itself crazy and u can't move the notes to the sides...
and why image line don't solve this problem?

because it's user error...when all the clips are selected it stretches them all or moves them all..I assure you it's no bug...I have never had the problem (except when I forget I have all the note selected)..Dj Mu7!L80R wrote:I have the same problem

what's up Hink?!!!!?? You doing okay? I haven't been doing much music the past year but I'm starting to do a little more here lately. Bought a mac. Damn I wish FL could be used on my powerbook G4.....Been using Logic and Live 5 on the mac and it's just not as intuitive as FL.

I'm still using FL on my windows machine but my crappy M-Audio FW410 blew out my firewire port. I bought a Mac powerbook and have been toying around with Logic Express, Garageband(terrible), and Ableton Live 5. I got pissed when I couldn't use the usb condenser mic that I bought with FL Studio(something about drivers and tons of latency). Then I plugged it into a friend's powerbook and it worked perfectly. That sold me on the Mac. I should have waited though; the newest Macs can run Windows just as good as a PC. I could've had the best of both worlds in one computer. With that said, after trying all of these other programs, I can still do more with FL than any of them. I guess its because FL is what I learned on. I don't think people realize how "professional" FL really is for a measly $150. See ya, J5C
