One suggestion:

I thought it was called 'Fondeled' when I read the thread. Perhaps JackDark could make an alternate skin that would fit?

With 2 large breasts and a pair of grubby hands wrapped around them?

Kingston: It's actually not SO weird. I was working on something one day, and used Moneo to accomplish Fondleo's job, and mentioned on the BBA forum, "I can't speak for anyone else, but I think that just this one function wrapped into its own plug would come in handy."

Now, we have Fondleo. It may have had its origins in a quizzical little forum post, but it might as well be shared with the public, right?

I figured the name should be somewhat like Moneo which has an o at the end so that was a given.

But I was thinking (but thats just me) about something else with one left and one right that I like to tweak.

Let's assume that you have a stereo track in which an acoustic guitar is the only instrument in the left channel, and a voice is the only signal in the right. If you pan all left, you might intuitively think that the singer will gradually be heard in the left channel. But with typical hardware and software panning solutions, this is not so!

Instead, the singer's voice is merely lowered until it cannot be heard at all. You may find yourself with a stereo track in which you want to hear all of the instruments or sounds, but simply want to change the entire track's relative stereo position.

Returning to the above example, if you use Fondleo to pan all left, the singer's voice will gradually blend into the left as it is faded out from the right. The end result: your entire stereo track ends in the left channel-- guitar and voice.

Warmonger: yup! It's self-evident that such a simple function can be accomplished natively from within most hosts. Another way to do it for hosts without Tracktion's or eXT's tools is to render your stereo to two mono tracks and simply pan away.

brok: It's all about the target audience. That's my text, though, Mully just posted it with release.

Anybody else: it's not like we claimed it was innovative. We just claimed it does a really simple job quickly and easily. If you don't need it you don't use it. In exchange, you get the benefit of not using it if you don't need it. That's a pretty good bargain, IMO.

We did this one for LunchMoney, I like to use it, especially using it with automation.
