And if the plugin reports its delay, which this does not atm, but it will come in such a flavour later on :)

And then you move that track ahead by the reported delay amount. Unless your host supports auto PDC, in which case it is done automatically.

Here we go, new version of the compressor:

Changes:
  • - Adjustable stereo linking
    - Adjustable auto-gain, the peak mode is for when using downwards compression, where it lowers the signal so that loud peaks are. well, not so loud. I'd still advice you to use the soft-clipper if you want to guarantee that no peaks over 0dB slips through.
    - New "opto-mode", based upon feedback style compression instead of normal feed-forward design. If chosen it only has an effect when using compression.
    - Switchable mono/stereo option for the lower band, good if you want to control your bass and turn it mono for more umph.
    - Saturation indicator (that little lamp by the softclip knob), lights up more and more the hotter the signal gets within the saturator.
GET THE DLL!

Let me know if there's any issues!

I've added saturation indicators, but I didn't think that was quite enough for another release. Give me some more time :)

Hello
Just a quick remark about the comp :
the light for clipping view is nice, but we have to distort the signal a huge lot to see if it lights or not... when it is red, it is ok, but when it is yellow, i don't really know if it blinks or not... maybe with a litte bit more contrast/saturation, it would be easier to see... (jsut a detail anyway)

When it's yellow you're already saturating the sound. Not sure I'm following you. I can see it start lighting up way earlier than I can _hear_ the saturation at work, otoh I haven't listened to any pure sines or anything lately :)

I mean that the color of the light when it's on is nearly the same than when it's off, except for huge saturation.
So sometimes, i don't know if the signal actually clips or not.

Might be a screen difference, but I'll make the "off" state of the LED darker. But, FYI, the light starts glowing quite early in the saturator, so to speak.
