hollow sun did a free windchime sample set. not exactly what your looking for but certainly sounded in the right ball park.

i used it in a tune here
(particulalry from about 30secs onwards)

if that sounds right to you i suggest contacting steve at holowsun and asking him to sort you out.

We had a small bell tree thread a while ago. Although your picture actually shows a Mark Tree, these are oftenly confused for each other.

Thank for the help, although it is something else that I am looking for. It looks like the picture I have put up but is played with a small stick that runs horizontally across the hanging sticks in one movement making them all hit each other. It makes a sort of magical "spell" like sound.

I'm sure you want a Mark Tree, although samples could be named differently because of the common confusion.

Chances are about 95% that the free wg_percussions from WestGateStudio contains what you're after.

Ok I've got that file although I have no idea what to go with a gig file? :?

It's GigaStudio, a quite popular sample format.
You can try Awave Studio from http://www.fmjsoft.com/
Even the free version can convert Giga instruments to the format of your choice.
