Hello to all Caviarians,
I'm desperately searching for an audio-signal-splitter in VST format: I would like to be able
to keep an original signal and ADD the same channel to a processed group. This is mainly to try the bus-compression-trick on drums where you keep the original drumsound AND split the signal to a processed group, making it possible to mix the raw+compressed sound together for more pump&punch.
I work with Cubase SX3,Windows XP PRO SP2,
Any hint or link welcome,
Thanx for helping,
Greetzz to y'all,
Saxophonick

You should be able to do that without any plugin, just insert a compressor in a send channel.

You don't need a signal splitter, you need a modular host
Have a look at energyXT.
Also, there are compressors that allow you to adjust the dry/wet ratio (e.g. Voxengo Marquis).

Thanx for the info:
To Branis: I already tried putting a compressor in a send but it kinda phases because some latency. That's why I'm looking for a splitter.
To Paulie Phonick:thanks for the hint about EnergyXT,but is it possible to use it as a VST plugin/instrument or is it only standalone?
Do you know a free VST plugin that does the same as EnergyXT?(have spent a lot this year...),

*shameless plugging*
If you keep ahead at zero our SynthMaker Compressor has zero latency AND a dry/wet knob
It is still a beta though.

Thank you 2 too:-)
To Stefan: I'll try your compressor ASAP!
To PTV: I already looked at their bundle, but the splitter included splits the signal in frequency-zones,not merely a "clean" splitter. That's what I'm looking for also, besides a compressor without latency.
Any other advice or suggestions welcome
