Best way to control volume levels in FL6

What is the best way to control volume levels on individual mixer tracks for the mixdown in FL6? I have just been editing events and drawing it in at the mo. But have lost track of where the automation all is. How do you guys do this in your tracks? I have never used Automation clips, would that be the best way?

You can use automation clips. They are easy to manage. Or you can record automation to dedicated paterns. Each pattern for each volume channel automation. in that way you can quickly arrange anything. Just like automation clips. Oh well...
