Hey Guys, I;ve been using Fruity Loops for a while now, somewhere around 4 years, I think, (Version 3.X I believe?) and there's something I've been doing that might be easier another way. I just stumbled across KVR a couple nights ago and I'm already picking up stuff I hadn't known about. Take the Fruity Formala Controller, for example. I had no Idea how to use that; yet, you guys made it clear now.

Anyway, I was about to double my BPM so I could easily use the step sequencer to create a faster beat, but all of my song would have played much faster. So in order to double my BPM and keep the song sounding the same I would have to take all my stuff in the piano roll and space it out javascript:emoticon(':-o')
Shit!. I could go in and edit each note by hand but that could take a while so I was wondering if there was a way to select all the notes in the piano roll and have it automatically double the spacing.
javascript:emoticon(':help:')

select the notes and hit Alt+U and select the interval timing.

Or did I get your question wrong?

Another easy way is to select the notes (in each piano roll, unfortunately)
hold down shift while dragging the right edge and it will expand the spacing
and length... try it to see what I mean.

And welcome to kvr ;)

I don't think you need to double the bpm to double the resolution of the notes - if that's what you mean. There are settings for that too (though I've never needed to fiddle with them so can't offer much advice on the subject)

Wow, runagate, you got it. That IS EXACTLY what I was looking to do. Thanks a lot. Oh and The Chase, I'm positive that will come in use sometimes in the near future. I really appreciate it guys, thanks a lot. (you saved me some time... and in the end all that time can really add up.)

I haven't yet used a program that I'm not continually learning
(or re-learning) new or more efficient ways of doing things.
Glad to help.

I've been using FL since version 1 and there's still things in there I didn't know about.
