Be sure to check under the hood to find the modular routings, the midi control, pitch detection, etc... etc...

Sonicfire might even do you a deal if you don't want the whole bundle.

probably will go with Camel, nice price thanks!
Cool :) Feel free to ask questions on the Camel forum, if there's anything you want to know about it, or PM Tim.
But not to forget , the Scuzzphut series of gate/delay plugins deserve a mention as well, they could have well been the source of inspiration to Camelspace after all.
CamelSpace came about as a result of several peoples influences - but Tim Conrardy and Scuzzphut especially pushed me in this direction. From time to time me and Scuzzphut go for a pint, since he lives quite nearby - and on one of those occassions he made the point that people could do with a more sophisticated gate, and encouraged me to build one. So you are indeed right that he influenced it.

yes..just to add to the story..I was really knocked out by the nice effects in Cameleon, especially the reverb. So I said to Ben one day: "you should make a seperate effect plug using the effects in Cameleon"...so he started it,and the actual first GUI had knobs that were just like in the Cameleon effects section.:-) It kept growing, with a great GUI and with that very cool trance gate. However I have found that while CamelSpace is known for it's trance gate..you can use it for bread and butter stuff, like just using the reverb or the delay, or a little flange, or exciter..stuff that you would use a seperate plugin for are all right in CamelSpace. No need for a bunch of plugins! CamelSpace has it all.

But having said that..CamelSpace with CamelPhat together is out of this world!
heres both of them together and Cameleon ( processed by both plugins) along with proccessed drums from Microtonic.

for gating plus a lot of other fx it's definitely CamelSpace

for filtering in every form known (including pseudo-gating, i.e. squashing), it's Filterscape

they both seem to co-exist without causing a rift in the time-space continuum -- though i have to admit i haven't been crazy enough to use them both on the same input at the the same time

Recently tested the Camel space demo and liked it very much, just wondered what if any alternatives there are, i remember playing around with Opcode fusion plugs years ago but this company is dead now ?

Wondering: why do you want an alternative? Why not just use Camelspace? It's cheaper than anything mentioned so far and is beloved by the music community. :?:

camlepace isn't cheaper than filterbank2

Also ShapeShifter is cheaper then Camelspace too, and also sports some cool unique features like the ability to re-arrange the order of effects. Well worth checking out the demo!

You might want to try Antares Filter, also. I've had that for 2 years (or so) but use CamelSpace most of the time now.

Cheers.
