Reason...I see the song position, but I'd like to know where my track is in minutes and seconds.

you don't... You might be able to change time code to time, but in my experience, you have to render the song. Alternatively.. you can buy a stopwatch.. and click the button on the top when you click *play* at the same time.. giving you seconds.

TIMER
I just tried it in Energy XT and it works fine. I just emailed the developer to request the option to sync to host and also to have the ability to trigger the transport controls via PC keys and/or MIDI notes.
We shall see.

I usually take a gander at my wall clock then hit play.
Sounds just a tad busy when one can just use the clock within the computer but the option is there.
